Virtual Configuration Software Engineer (Relocation to Sweden)

Currently we are looking for a Virtual Configuration Software Engineer to join a very cool project in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the configuration-server environment.
• Adhere to the coding standards, DevOps methodology & agile WoW in the delivery.
• Plan program specifications by confirming logical sequence and flowcharts; researching and employing established operations.
• Involve in backlog preparation by confirming objectives and requirements within agile teams.
• Accomplish the delivery /drive if required as per the agreed time plan.
• Support the team in addressing/removing the impediments in the delivery.
• Involvement in both maintenance and new development projects.
• Share experience and knowledge regarding customizations and configurations.
• Supporting department and organization mission as needed.

Comments on experience & skills:

• You have experience and an understanding of PLM, CAD and 3D visualization and understand the possibilities with collaboration with virtual product data in a PLM tool, preferably PTC Creo and Windchill.

• Good understanding of Windows, Linux/Unix.

• Knowledge and good experience in JAVA, J2EE, JSP, Java Script, JavaFX, XML, PowerShell scripting.

• Broad knowledge in handling lightweight data, workflow management, Context management & BOM Handling.

• Experience of Oracle, GIT, Jira tools and working in Agile setup.

• Experience in working with Restful and MQ integration services is beneficial.

• Good knowledge in CAD, PLM platforms and tools (Preferably PTC).

• Working in SDLC methodology and experience in agile WoW, DevOps methodology, handling technical documentation (Requirements, functional, use cases).

• Have a strong business focus and are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the business.

• Ability to translate and balance functional and non-functional business requirements into sustainable and cost-efficient solution design.

• You have good communication & presentation skills.

What’s in it for you?

For this position we offer a salary of 40000-50000 SEK gross per month, based on the level of prior experience. About 30% goes in taxes whereas up to 18,5% is automatically credited to your personal pension plan.
