DevOps Engineer (Relocation to Sweden)

Greetings! My name is Maria, I am an International IT recruiter and since 2015 I have been relocating the most talented engineers to Sweden. The projects of Volvo, Bosch, Sony, H&M and other world names. We at techscout.tech are an official partner of the Swedish company that has led the market for 20+ years within the relocation. We are looking for DevOps Engineers for one of our agile teams, the team responsible for the operations and CI (Continuous Integration) chain for the development of the Android-based entertainment platform that we are responsible for. Besides having the technical knowledge, you are expected to be a proactive team player, result-oriented, willing to share your knowledge and, at the same time, receptive.


Requirements:

  • M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Working command of the English language
  • Very good understanding of Continuous Integration and software toolchains
  • Good knowledge of version control systems (GIT)
  • At least 6 years of experience in software development (not only having “used” sometimes but rather advanced knowledge and large experience in):
  • Gradle plugin development
  • Jenkins (as Code)
  • Android App development
  • Android Open Source Project, AOSP
  • Docker
  • System administration


Good to have:

  • Experience in test of embedded systems (unit testing, component testing, etc.); experience in test automation is a big advantage
  • Agile processes (KANBAN, SCRUMBAN, SCRUM), experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework
  • Experience from automotive in the area of infotainment



What’s in it for you?

For this position we offer a salary of 40000-50000 SEK gross per month, based on the level of prior experience. About 30% goes in taxes whereas up to 18,5% is automatically credited to your personal pension plan.
